New home Cobham is so-o-o good

Chelsea settled into the new Cobham training ground today, Wednesday, with
great enthusiasm and ease.
The massive move from Harlington took place over the last two days and is
complete. Indoor facilities at Cobham are temporary but excellent, while
the three pitches with under-soil heating are all in fantastic condition.
One was used today.
The goalkeepers have a dedicated area, an indoor pitch is available when
required, and the Academy has a separate area where future first team
players will be involved from aged eight.
Chelsea last owned a training ground in Mitcham back in the 1970s but had
to sell it because of financial problems caused by the building of the
East Stand. The club moved to Harlington, owned by Imperial College, in 1980.
