Ballack out for Chelsea

Michael Ballack's name was noticeably absent from Chelsea's squad list for
the UEFA Champions League group stages.
巴拉克這名字沒有出現在切爾西歐洲冠軍盃小組賽的出場名單.

Last Friday was the date for the submission of the list and Chelsea's medical
staff could not guarantee Ballack would recover in time, from ankle surgery,
to play any part in the Group B matches.
上週五是繳交全隊名單的截止日，但藍軍醫療團隊不確定巴拉克是否能如期
從腳踝手術中康復，趕上 Group B 的比賽。

The group stages conclude on 11th December, with Chelsea to play Valencia,
Schalke and Rosenborg home and away.
這組比賽要一直打到十二月十一號，藍軍將在主客場迎戰 Valencia、
Schalke、Rosenborg。

Chelsea have confirmed that they are hopeful Ballack will be available for
the latter stages of the competition.
藍軍已經證實他們只能希望巴拉客可以在日後復出，參與後階段的比賽。

October return?
十月歸隊？

"Naturally, we hope Michael's recovery is as quick as possible, that he
returns to full training ahead of schedule and that he will then be available
for the latter stages of the competition, should we qualify," read a
statement from Chelsea.
「我們當然希望巴拉客能愈快康復愈好，好讓他可以早日歸隊進行完整訓練，
準備好參加後階段的比賽，如果我們晉級的話」，藍軍某聲明中提道。

The 31-year-old has not played since April and will now definately not
feature in Europe until February at the earliest.
三十一歲的某人從四月後就不曾參賽，也肯定不會在二月之前參與歐洲賽事。

He has, though, according to reports, been pencilled in for a domestic return
at the end of October.
不過，根據報導，他的確是"預定"要在十月底回歸國內賽事。
