Frank Lampard's agent has told Sky Sports News that the Chelsea midfielder's
contract situation remains 'completely unresolved'.
法蘭克蘭帕德的經紀人說蘭帕德的合約問題"尚未明朗化"
The 30-year-old is in the final 12 months of his current Stamford Bridge deal
and has been discussing an extension for almost two years.
Chelsea have confirmed an approach from Internazionale has been rejected,
with the Italian champions' president Massimo Moratti saying a firm offer has
been made.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho is keen to work with Lampard again and has
suggested he could sign the England international next summer.
However, speaking at his first press conference as Chelsea boss, Luiz Felipe
Scolari says Lampard has told him he will be staying in West London.
Amicable chat
Lampard's agent Steve Kutner, though, admits the former West Ham United ace
will only commit his future to the club once he is happy with a contract
offer.
"I would just like to make the position clear," said Kutner in a statement to
Sky Sports News.
"Felipe had a very amicable chat with Frank who told him he always envisaged
ending his playing career at Chelsea Football Club.
"He also told him that unfortunately the terms for a new contract cannot be
agreed with the board despite discussions having been ongoing for over two
years.
"This, coupled with everything that happened to Frank at the end of last
season, means his position remains completely unresolved."
