Kezman gives Chelsea parting shot

Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, expected to seal a transfer to Atletico Madrid,
says the Blues never believed in him.

The 26-year-old, who joined Chelsea a year ago for ￡5m from PSV Eindhoven,
will have a medical in Madrid on Wednesday ahead of his move.

But he claimed there are also 20 other clubs interested in him.

凱日曼表示還有一脫拉庫的球會對他有興趣.

He added: "I still don't understand why I am not such a star at Chelsea.
Everyone else seems to think I've got all the ability to be a star striker."

凱日曼表示他仍然不解為何他無法在切爾西成為巨星,其他所有人都認為我具有成為

Kezman will become Atletico's first signing of the summer if he completes his
move.

The Serbia & Montenegro forward made his name with Partizan Belgrade before, in
2000, joining PSV where he scored 105 goals in a four-year spell.

Now it appears he is prepared to leave the Blues, but he has turned down at
least one other club in Benfica as he did not want to play in the Portuguese
league.

His exit, along with that of Mikael Forssell to Birmingham, leaves Chelsea with
just two senior strikers at the club, Didier Drogba and Eidur Gudjohnsen.

One other, Hernan Crespo, is still contracted to the Blues but has spent the
last year on loan at AC Milan and is desperate to remain at the San Siro.


That is why the Blues have tried to sign some of the best strikers in Europe
this summer - having been linked with Thierry Henry, Adriano, Andriy
Shevchenko, David Trezeguet, Samuel Eto'o and Fernando Torres.
