Mourinho Recommendation
David Moyes has revealed that his newest signing Nuno Valente comes highly
recommended by Chelsea's Premiership winning manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese international played under "The Special One" whilst he was in
charge at Porto and was involved in the Champions League success of 2004.
Moyes moved for Valente after injures to Gary Naysmith and Alessandro Pistone
left him with no left-back and he arrives at Goodison on three-year deal.
"I spoke to Jose about him. He had him at Porto and he was in the side the won
the Champions League in 2004. He is a Portuguese international with a wealth
of experince."
