http://skysports.planetfootball.com/Article.asp?id=290127 Bridge happy with progress by James Pearson - created on 8 Jul 2005 Chelsea full back Wayne Bridge is happy with the progress he is making from a double fracture in his ankle. The former Southampton defender has been out of action since sustaining the blow in The Blues' FA Cup clash against Newcastle United five months ago. Bridge had been told he would not return to training until September, but the 24-year-old is keen to feature in at least one pre-season game this summer. £8 million capture Asier Del Horno could start the season in Bridge's absence, although the England international will be pressing his claims if he is fit for the new campaign. "I don't feel too bad," explained Bridge to Chelsea TV. "The ankle is almost there although the last few stages are taking a bit longer then I would wish. "I've made good progress and I have done a lot of good work over the summer. I can run and do most things well, it is just hopping and jumping off the bad leg. "It should come on in the next month or so and I hope to be ready in time for the start of the season. "8月份應該就可以康復歸隊.希望可以趕在新賽季開賽前." "I don't think I will be able to play in any of the pre-season games, but I have got to aim to try and get one of them under my belt. "我想我無法參加季前熱身賽." "I was told I wouldn't train until September and not play until after that so I'm well ahead of schedule. I'm keeping my fingers crossed." "之前我被告知要到9月後我才能進行訓練,之後才能上場比賽,所以目前的康復狀況比預期 好." ~~~ 所以熱身賽將可充分檢驗新同學Del的表現 ~~~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.121.198.53
