THE END OF THE 2006/07 SEASON

Today, 30 June, is the last official day of the 2006/07 season, and we say
goodbye to those players who are out of contract and moving on.

Amongst them is one senior player we have not seen for a while. Juan
Sebastian Veron joined us for an undisclosed fee in 2003 and in the
following season played 14 games, starting 11, and scored one goal.
其中之一就是好久不見的維隆，2003年加盟後他只出賽過14場，打進一球。
The goal was on his Chelsea Premiership debut, a 2-1 win at Liverpool. His
best performance, arguably, was in the Uefa Champions League against his
old club Lazio when Chelsea won 4-0 in Rome.
那場比賽正是他首次先發的比賽 - 開幕戰 2-1 勝利物浦，但這或許也是他發揮最好
的一場比賽，另一場則是歐冠客場 4-0 大破拉奇奧。
But soon after that he suffered a back injury while on international duty
in South America and stayed out there to have surgery. He returned to make
a few more substitute appearances, most notably away to Monaco in the
Champions League semi-final, but made it clear he hadn't settled.
隨後他回國參加國際賽時傷了背部，休養了很長一段時間，手術復出後只替補上場過
幾次，包括歐冠半決賽客場對摩納哥，明顯的不在狀況。
He was loaned to Inter Milan for two seasons thereafter, and subsequently
to Estudiantes last season.
04-05 賽季開始他就被租借到國際米蘭，上個賽季又被租到阿甲的 Estudiantes。
This week he made his international comeback, playing his first game for
Argentina since before the World Cup as they beat USA 4-1 in the Copa
America. His former Chelsea colleague Hernan Crespo scored Argentina's
first two goals. Crespo has another year on his Chelsea contract, on loan
to Inter Milan, to complete.
本週他完成了國家隊的回歸，美洲盃阿根廷 4-1 勝美國，克雷斯波也梅開二度，後者
