Newcastle confirm Geremi interest

Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed his interest in signing
Chelsea utility man Geremi. The Magpies hope to recruit the Cameroon star
on a free transfer as he is out of contract at Stamford Bridge.

Geremi, 28, made 23 starts and five substitute appearances last season,
but has never claimed a regular place.
喀麥隆人本季只先發23次，替補5次。
"He is someone we would like to pursue, hopefully we can persuade him to
join if we get the chance," Allardyce told the club's website. "It is a
long way from done but there is an interest and hopefully we can progress
it over the next few days."
阿勒代斯在喜鵲官網公開表示對傑瑞米的喜愛，不過目前沒有什麼進展。
Middlesbrough had also been linked with a move for Geremi, who spent a
season on loan at The Riverside from Real Madrid earlier in his career,
but they insist they have no interest.
