Looking to settle Villa score

Wednesday's Carling Cup tie brings an earlier than expected chance for an
overdue win against the most recent team to escape Stamford Bridge
undefeated.

Just over a month ago, Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa side became the first
to take a Premiership point home since January.

Geremi, who played right-back in that game, remembers the spurned
opportunities well, but takes a positive view.

creating opportunities. The day that we are going to take the chances to

The game carries with it the potential to be Villa striker Chris Sutton's
first against Chelsea since his unsuccessful year spent here in the
1999/00 season.

However the now 33 year-old, who rejoined his former Celtic boss last
month having been without a club, may be rested following his first start
at the weekend.

‘He's stiff from playing almost all the game, so whether he is ready to
