Football Icon 2 - Down to the last six

After their first week's training alongside the Chelsea youth team, the
remaining Football Icon boys were left in no doubt about the standard
expected.
Two more boys have now been released, striker David Milton and midfielder
Jack Steele, by Football Icon's chief judge, Neil Bath. Once again, the
judges faced a tough decision and there were long deliberations about who
should go.
While it was bad news for two of the boys, defender Carl Magnay was
invited to train with members of the first team, who included Joe Cole and
Michael Essien.

Also during the programme, the boys received a surprise visit from Chelsea
goalkeeper, Carlo Cudicini.
At the Football Icon Mansion, where the boys are staying during their time
as Chelsea triallists, the tensions between Stuart Gates and Anthony Cook
'Cookie' boiled over, culminating in a shouting match.
In the next episode of the series, the six remaining boys are given a
lesson on how to handle the media. There's also a surprise visit to the
Mansion by a former Chelsea star.
The winner of the competition, who will be announced in December, wins a
professional contract at Chelsea. Football Icon 2 is on Sky One, 8pm
Friday.
