Frank Lampard has moved to quash growing speculation over his future by
insisting he has no intention of invoking a Fifa rule that could see him leave
Chelsea in the summer.

The England international has been linked with European giants Real Madrid and
Juventus as talks over a new deal have stalled at Stamford Bridge, with
Lampard
conceding that the delay in talks has been frustrating.

"I want to stay at Chelsea," Lampard told The Sun. "I have never wanted to

Even though the former West Ham star has been frustrated at a delay in
negotiations, Lampard is not ready to invoke the regulation and break his
contract prematurely.

"I wondered what was going on and since then there have been a couple of
meetings with Steve (Kutner, Lampard's agent)," Lampard added.
