A decision on whether John Terry will undergo surgery on the back injury that
has kept the captain out for four games will be made sooner rather than later
, by order of the manager.

莫老大將在短期內決定是否讓已經因背傷缺陣四場比賽的特裡進行手術

Speaking after he saw his team conceded their sixth goal in that period, Jose
Mourinho said:

特裡缺陣的這幾場比賽裡球隊已經丟了六個球

'I want John to be back as soon as possible and the medical department has to
make a decision as soon as possible - and then we will see.

醫療團將做出決定(是否開刀)

'At this moment I have no idea if he will have surgery. There is an option of
another kind of treatment so whether he is out for three days, three week or
three months, I don't know.

沒人知道特裡將缺陣多久 三天 三週或三個月 還有另一個選擇(治療)

'The medical department speak to me about new surgery technologies that mean
it can be an easy surgery where a player can be back in two weeks - but I
don't know now if that is the option.

醫療團跟我說過有一種新技術 通過一個較簡單的手術讓球員兩週內就能比賽 但我不知道
這是不是一個選擇

'They say to me the problem is to decide and I want them to make a quick
decision.

問題在於決定(動手術或是帶傷打完魔鬼賽程或是此新技術) 我希望他們儘快做出決定

'It is the same with Joe Cole,' he added. 'I have no idea if the option is
surgery or not.'

喬柯爾的情況也類似 我不知道他是否需要動手術(天阿)

Cole is out of action until the new year with a stress fracture in his foot.

'With that kind of injury, some medical philosophy is for surgery, another
philosophy is to wait for the bone healing - so for the moment, these two
players I have no idea when they can be back.'

通常對於這種傷勢有兩種選擇 一種是手術 另一種是等待─等他們的骨頭自己長好
這兩個人(特裡 柯爾)回歸的日子不確定

Mourinho's injury list that also includes keepers Cech and Cudicini was added
to when Arjen Robben suffered an injury in training before the Reading game
that though not serious, is expected to keep him out of the remaining holiday
games.

傷兵名單裡還有切赫 酷迪奇尼 以及羅本 ─ 羅本在比賽前的訓練裡受傷了 雖然不嚴重
但是在接下來的魔鬼賽程裡不會再上場

'Normally if you lose Joe Cole, you still have Robben. To lose the two you
have a different problem,' explained a frustrated Mourinho who also expressed
his faith in the Chelsea medical staff.

如果失去了喬柯爾 我們還有羅本 但是如果兩人都失去了 問題就來了
莫老大雖然不爽 但是也對醫療團隊表示有信心

'Ricardo Carvalho has been injured for a long time but they keep having him
playing because of the great job they do.

雖然卡瓦略已經傷很久了 但是她們(醫療團隊)還是讓他能上場比賽 她們做的很好

'With Petr Cech it is amazing work they are doing. We were thinking about
Cech being back for February but at this moment we think he will be back for
January.'

醫療團隊對切赫做了驚人的恢復 我們本希望切赫能在二月回來 現在看來他一月就能上場

'My medical department is good and honest and I am happy with them.'
