Ashley Cole had a scan today on his injured knee.
It was confirmed that surgery was not necessary on the posterior cruciate
ligament injury and so it is expected he will play again this season.
He was stretchered off against Blackburn last night after twisting is knee when
stepping on the ball. Chelsea beat Blackburn 3-0.
