Following the Carling Cup semi-final victory, Jose Mourinho revealed that
captain John Terry was very close to signing a new contract with the club.

However, following the recent onslaught of media speculation over Mourinho's
future, JT had questioned whether he would still be playing for the same
manager.

'My answer was I think so,' said Mourinho.

Mourinho was also pleased to report that the Blues captain is now training
again following his recent back surgery.

'He trained yesterday (Monday), today rested. Tomorrow he will train again with
the reserves and fitness coach.'

“昨天他參加了訓練（週一），今天休息了。明天將會跟預備隊員和體能教練一起繼續訓
練。”


The return of the skipper will be a boost for the injury-ridden squad so
Mourinho will now perhaps not need to enter the transfer market.

隊長的回歸會對傷病滿營的隊伍起到很大推進作用，因此穆帥也許就不會那麼想要進轉會
市場找人了。


'Boulahrouz could be back in one month,' Jose said.

“博拉魯玆在一個月內也可能回來，”何塞說。


'It's not so dramatic now. We are not as desperate as we were two to three weeks
ago. If we have a bit of luck with no more injuries, we can do it without any
more players.'

“現在形勢已經不那麼戲劇化。我們走出了2、3個禮拜前那種絕境。如果再來那麼一點兒
運氣不再有人繼續受傷，我們想要大獲全勝，根本不用增補人員。”

Moruniho's future key to Terry's new contract

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho revealed skipper John Terry wanted an assurance the
Portuguese manager would be at Stamford Bridge next season before agreeing to
sign a new contract.

Mourinho last night revealed Terry is close to signing a new contract with the
club and expects the deal to be done 'in the next few days'.

The Blues and England captain is set to put pen to paper on a deal that will
make him the highest paid player in the Barclays Premiership - a package
reportedly worth around ￡150,000 a week.

But Mourinho revealed his skipper had wanted an assurance the manager would be
at Stamford Bridge next season.

Mourinho said: 'John is almost signing a new contract. If he hasn't then he is
doing that in the next few days.

'But, when he says it would be very difficult for him to play with another
manager in his career and he would like to do it with me until the end of
his career, it is because he accepts my philosophy as his.

'He feels comfortable with the work we do.'

魔力鳥表示特裡近期內會簽新約 但是他很難再在他的職業生涯與另一位教練共事
因為他認同我的哲學 也很滿意我們現在的工作


But when asked whether Terry had asked him outright whether he would be at the
club next season, Mourinho replied: 'Yes. My answer was 'I think so'.

但是當特裡問他是否會留在史坦夫橋 魔力鳥說:"或許吧"


Terry returned to full training this week and, although he still has some way
to go to get back to full fitness, he could have an outside chance of
returning against Blackburn in the Barclays Premiership next week.

特裡已經開始完全訓練 雖然離最佳狀態還差一些 但是有可能會在對課本的英超比賽
中亮相


Terry said: 'I've been needing more power in my calf to join properly, but I
have started full training again.

特里說他小腿還差一些力量 但是已經開始完全訓練


'I've managed to get some power back now. I still need to improve it and it's
been taking longer than we thought. But I am delighted to be back involved
with the lads.'

我已經恢復了一些力量 還需要進步 他多用了我一些時間


Terry, who watched Saturday's defeat at the hands of Liverpool from the
touchline at Anfield, says the pick-up they needed was provided by
Arsenal's fantastic comeback against United on Sunday.

Terry added: 'I'm disappointed that we lost at Anfield, obviously, and we need
to pick ourselves up, but in a way that's already happened.

'When Manchester United scored, I thought that the game was over. But credit to
 Arsenal, they've given us another opportunity and it is time to put pressure
on United now.'
