Desailly and Ranieri have been singing the praises of Glen Johnson after the
young right-back was called up to the England squad.
Following his call up to the England squad the highly rated fullback has been
receiving praise from some very high places.
French legend Marcel Desailly believes that Glen Johnson has the potential to
be a giant on the world stage. “Glen has great quality for the future, you can
feel he is going to be he is going to be one of the best right-backs in the
world" said the Chelsea skipper.

Claudio Ranieri added that he was impressed with the defender's technical
ability and work rate “His skill is fantastic. Physically he can run for two
matches and never stand still."

Now that Johnson has been included in the England squad it seems that
Sven-Goran Eriksson has also noted the player's rapid development. “I love
watching him play. He plays with a lot of style out there on the pitch" raved
the England coach.
If Johnson earns his first cap against Denmark then it will mark a remarkable
year for the 19-year-old who made his Premiership debut for West Ham in January.
