SMALL BEER
The clubs ranging from seventh to 10th - Bolton Wanderers, Fulham, Charlton
Athletic and Birmingham - are separated by one point and have more than just
pride to play for.
Each place in the league is worth 545,000 pounds ($976,500) so if Birmingham
, now 10th, managed to rise to seventh it would be worth an extra 1.635 million
pounds to them - no small beer for clubs that exist on tight budgets and good
coaching.
Eighth-placed Fulham host Arsenal on Sunday in what will their last match as
tenants at Loftus Road before they return to their Craven Cottage home, hoping
to end the champions' run of 36 games unbeaten from the start of the season.
Bolton, in seventh a point ahead of their rivals, visit Everton and will
certainly need the extra cash for their wage bill next season if they manage to
lure Rivaldo to Lancashire.
Ninth-place Charlton, meanwhile, host what is likely to be a deflated Leeds
side.
Matters at the bottom are all but wrapped up with Leicester City relegated
and Leeds and Wolves needing an extraordinary and highly unlikely series of
results to haul in 17th-placed Manchester City and preserve their status.

對阿布來說卻是SMALL BEER...XDD
這階段對其他球隊贏球是為了多賺點銀子,好讓下賽季可以加薪
