VERON'S LEGAL THREAT

"I never said anything negative about Ranieri anywhere," Veron told the
South American press. "What has been published in an English newspaper is
all lies because I never gave an interview to them so they have invented my
words.
"Now I am going to take them to court because they can't make that sort
of thing up and damage me."
He added: "One of the reasons why I haven't been talking to the English
press is because of this. I have had problems like this in the past so I
prefer to be in silence.
"But it seems to be that some parts of the press want me to have trouble
and invent quotes that I have never said."
"I can't spend all the time having to deny quotes that I haven't said,"
he continued. "This sort of thing makes you tired so I am going to resolve
it in court."
