ROBSON'S MOURINHO WARNING

    Sir Bobby Robson has warned Jose Mourinho that he will be in for a culture

shock if, as expected, the Porto coach accepts a similar position with Chelsea
.


    Mourinho, who guided Porto to UEFA Champions League glory this week, is

set to head for pastures new and he indicated after the victory over Monaco

that Chelsea will be his likely destination.


    The Blues are not yet in a position to confirm Mourinho as their new coach

,as Ranieri is still in his position, but former England manager Robson has

warned that the Portuguese tactician will have to adapt to a different

environment.


    "The fact is Jose is coming into an area he does not know," Robson, who

worked with Mourinho at Barcelona, is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail. "He

won't find The Premiership anything like the Portuguese League.


    "He is joining the big boys and the big teams, where every game is a

possible blip.


    "In Portugal, if you can beat Benfica and Sporting home and away, you are

likely to win the title.


    "What he has done on five or six occasions in European competition over

the last two seasons is beat the big teams.


    "He has to do that 38 times in the league."
