根據世界足球週刊所勘查的結果, 皇家馬德里最終取代曼聯成為世界最有錢的球會俱樂部.
皇馬在2002年的年收入為 252M 歐元的, 比其他的球會有更為可觀的收入. 他們的收入比
第二名的曼聯高出 45M 歐元. 但是, 西班牙也唯有巴塞隆納進入世界前二十富有的俱樂
部.
而在二十大裡, 英格蘭的球會就占了八支, 義大利球會占了五支, 三支來自得國及兩支來
自蘇格蘭. 而這個世界足球研究的團隊, 是由足球財經專家Simon Banks以各式各樣的資
料來源來評估.
而完整的結果, 包括了俱樂部的球員工資表, 轉會花費以及佔贊助商交易將會在2003年7月
刊的世界足球週刊詳細刊出.
