Chelsea are to launch a ￡2million bid to sign Reggina's centre-back Jorge
Vargas, according to the Mirror.
Claudio Ranieri has also been given money to spend on a midfielder and a
striker.
He is also keen on Malaga central defender Fernando Sanz, West Ham's Joe Cole
and Charlton's Scott Parker, the paper claims.
