The rehabilitation of Damien Duff's shoulder is going very well. He is running

and continuing with a muscle development programme on the injured joint. We

hope he should be back in training in about a week but we need to see how he

improves over the next few days.


Mario Stanic, Juan Sebastian Ver6n and Ernmanuel Petit are all progressing well

and have been warming up with the squad in training.  Mario, who has been out

with a knee problem since just before Christmas, should be in full training

soon while Seba's injured back has improved hugely. He has been running and

using the ball very well and should be back in contention very soon.


Manu’s knee is gradually getting stronger. He has been twisting and turning on

it and we are hopeful of a return to training in the next couple of weeks.


Joe Keenan, another knee injury victim with strained ligaments, came through

his first training with no adverse reaction and has been training regularly

this week.
