Claudio Ranieri has admitted Chelsea will get a real lift from the return
to action of Damien Duff.
The Blues have had a sorry time of late, but their slump has coincided
with the absence of Irish flyer Duff.
The wing wizard dislocated his shoulder against Fulham in December and he
has been forced to watch from the sidelines as The Blues have lost ground on
Manchester United and Arsenal in the race for The Premiership.
Duff returned to action in the FA Cup replay win over Watford on Wednesday
and Ranieri admits his trickery and drive gives a different dimension to his
side's attack.
"I'm very happy to have him back," said Ranieri. "He's a fantastic player.
"When he goes with the ball one on one against an opponent he is
devastating.
"He is an intelligent, smart player. And when I call my mother, she will
say 'Well done, son' for bringing him back."
