PETIT DENIES PSG CONTACT

Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit has admitted he could be set for a move
to France in the summer, but denies having had contact with Paris Saint
Germain.
The French World Cup winner has been plagued by knee trouble this term,
having not kicked a ball in anger since the end of September.
Petit's deal with the Stamford Bridge giants runs out at the end of the
season, meaning he is free to discuss a pre-contract with interested parties.
Reports in sections of the French media claimed PSG had made tentative
enquiries about the midfielder's availability, but the 33-year-old former
Arsenal man says there is no truth to the rumours.
"Very sincerely, I have had no contact with Paris," said Petit.
It would appear Petit is planning for life after Stamford Bridge, as he
added: "As I will reach the end of my contract at the end of the season,
several clubs have contacted me, but not PSG.
"However, another Le Championnat side has contacted me…"
