ABRAMOVICH NOT EXPECTING SILVERWARE

Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has insisted that he does
expect manager Claudio Ranieri to secure any silverware this term.
The Italian coach's future is the subject of almost constant speculation
, but Abramovich has stated that he is prepared to wait to see a return on
his huge financial investment.
"I am realistic enough not to expect overnight success. I accept it takes
time to bring a team together," said the Russian tycoon.
"I have no real expectations. I don't expect us to win anything this
season.
"I have expectations, but they are realistic.
"Of course I would love Chelsea to win something sooner rather than later
but I have faith in my manager and he will be given time to succeed."
