Chelsea skipper Marcel Desailly says that he fully intends to see out
the remaining 18 months on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.
The veteran French defender has made 17 appearances for The Blues so
far this season and is happy with the amount of action he gets in the first
team.
At the age of 35, Desailly knows that he can not play week in and week
out in The Premiership but is more than happy to be part of Claudio Ranieri's
star-studded squad.
The former Marseille and Milan man says that the Italian coach is
building a superb side at Stamford Bridge and is happy to stick around for
the remainder of his contract.
"Give me one reason why I should leave Chelsea," said Desailly.
"They're one of the best clubs in the world who are in the process of
building superb foundations and have bought quality players.
"There is no reason to leave."
