The Blues have sealed a big-money deal with French side Rennes to sign the 21-year-old keeper, and many people have suggested it will be the end for Cudicini. However, the Italian's agent, Federico Pastorello, has told skysports.com that Cudicini intends to see-out the remainder of his contract at Stamford Bridge - and is ready for competition for the number one jersey. "There aren't problems for Carlo," Pastorello told skysports.com. "The fact that a new keeper is going to arrive doesn't change things for Carlo Cudicini. If I'm not wrong, on Chelsea tv, an official said that nothing will change. "So it will be the coach that will make the choice. But there a many matches Chelsea must play and so there will be space for both of them. "Carlo wants to stay at Chelsea until the end of his contract in 2008. There is the intention to end his career there too. Then we will see." Pastorello says that Cudicini is still aiming to play for Italy in Euro 2004 in Portugal in the summer - and says he now has a chance. "The national team? "Carlo had been called-up one time for a friendly, but at the end this hasn't gone any further. But luckily Italy's situation is changing. "Toldo is living a quite difficult period, and Peruzzi is not so young. "So Carlo is hoping to take advantage from this situation to be able to give his help at the European Championship." -- 在 獨 狼 面 前 沒 人 敢 說 自 己 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 203.67.150.140
