JIMMY NOT SEEKING CHELSEA EXIT

Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has stated he does not want to
depart the club but would leave if he was surplus to requirements.
The former Atletico Madrid and Leeds United hit-man has been in and out
of Claudio Ranieri's team this season, and was omitted from their recent
games against Arsenal and Stuttgart.
Hasselbaink is happy in England, after being brought to Elland Road
back in 1997 by then boss George Graham, and is not looking to depart
Stamford Bridge.
"It would be a pity if I have to leave because this is a magnificent
club and I love it here," said Hasselbaink to the Sun.
"I adore English football and I am not looking to get a move. But if
the club want me to go, I will have no say in it and hopefully another door
would open for me."
Meanwhile, the Dutch striker has asked the club to end the rumours
manager Claudio Ranieri will be axed at the end of the season by clarifying
his position.
The Italian tactician's job has been reportedly insecure since Roman
Abramovich assumed control of Chelsea and Hasselbaink feels the players will
benefit from knowing the club's long-term plans.
"There has been a lot of talk about everything at Chelsea, the boss and
the players. It has been like this the whole season," he added.
"Maybe it would be helpful if the club told us what is going on. That
would make it easier for the manager - not that he looks under pressure when
he talks to us.
"But it wouldn't be a bad thing for the group if they made things clear.
Maybe say `Don't worry, he will be here next season'.
"I still prefer it when people say things straight to my face rather
than having things going on behind my back.
"But what does that mean in football? Today they say `Don't worry, your
job is safe'. And then tomorrow...?
"When they start saying your job is safe, that is the time to worry."
