Chelsea negotiating for Arjen Robben

Chelsea can confirm that we are in negotiations with PSV Eindhoven
for the purchase of their 20 year old international striker Arjen Robben
, and that he is undergoing a medical with a view to signing.
Robben, who scored Holland’s winner in their last international, a
1-0 victory over USA, has been linked with a number of top clubs. That
was his third cap and his first international goal.
PSV are currently second in the Dutch League, six points behind
leaders Ajax. Robben, whose birthday is in January, thus he is only just
20, joined PSV from Groningen in 2002 and has since been virtually ever
present in their side.
