TERRY NOT THROWING TOWEL IN

    Chelsea defender John Terry says he firmly believes Arsenal will slip

up this season and that The Premiership race is not over yet.


    Chelsea trail The Gunners by nine points in The Premiership with the

North London club yet to taste defeat in the league all season, while the

two are all set to do battle in the UEFA Champions League quarter finals

as well.


    Terry said: "There is still so much for us to play for this season. We

still believe sooner or later Arsenal are going to slip up.


    "We have the Champions League, as well as the league, to play for and

though we didn't play well against Stuttgart in the last round, we are

still through to the last eight.


    "If we start to play better in that competition, who knows what can

happen."


    Arsenal certainly have had the better of their encounters with Chelsea

this season, knocking them out of the FA Cup and have done the double over

them in the league with the Stamford Bridge outfit yet to record a win in

the last 16 meetings.


    Terry says he cannot explain the record and says that the balance of

power is shifting towards the capital with Arsenal and Chelsea above

Manchester United, but refused to rule The Red Devils out either.


    "We just can't put our finger on why we have not been able to beat

Arsenal," he added.


    "It's the same with us and Spurs – they don't seem to have beaten us

for years.


    "I'd like to think there is a power shift towards London, with Arsenal

top and us second.


    "But you can't forget what a great side United are."
