EIDUR'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BELIEF

Eidur Gudjohnsen believes Chelsea can progress into the semi-finals of
the UEFA Champions League despite being drawn against bogey side Arsenal.
The Blues have not beaten their London rivals in 16 games over recent
years, however the Icelandic international believes they can overcome The
Gunners in two European legs.
Gudjohnsen opened the scoring in Chelsea's defeat to Arsenal at Stamford
Bridge, but like their other encounters this term, the side eventually lost
2-1 to Arsene Wenger's team.
The former Bolton man is preferring to forget their form against the
Premiership leaders and focus solely on progressing in the semi-finals and
moving a step closer to lifting the coveted trophy.
"Even though we haven't beaten them for all those games, we still have
a belief we can progress in the Champions League," explained Gudjohnsen.
"People may find that strange but it's true, the fact that we still
believe we can beat them. And that's a big factor, if we don't believe we
can do it we are never going to do it.
"We've had three games this season they've all been close. Hopefully it
will be even close and it will go our way this time.
"We are definitely looking forward to it. We've got over the fact we
were drawn together and now we just have to make sure we go one better."
Chelsea entertain Arsenal in the first leg at Stamford Bridge on
Wednesday before travelling to Highbury for the return game on April 6.
