DUFF DREAMS OF DATE WITH FIGO

Chelsea winger Damien Duff is desperate for UEFA Champions League glory
against Arsenal - as he is keen on a match-up with idol Luis Figo.
Duff is aware that should South London triumph over North next week,
then Chelsea are likely to face Real Madrid and Figo in the competition's
semi-final.
The pacey wideman admits he studies tapes of the Portuguese wizard and
is desperate to face a player he models his own game upon.
The game against Arsenal will see Duff clash with another hero,
Frenchman Robert Pires, whom he believes is also a wonderful talent.
''I love watching Figo. He and Pires are my favourite players,'' Duff
told the Daily Star. ''They play in similar positions to me, do similar jobs
and such like.
''But I don't think Pires can take people on as much as Figo and I don't
think that there are a lot of players left in the game who can do that
anymore, so Figo is my favourite.
''I like to study both and learn from them. It's a dying breed - a
player who can take players on.
''But I'd like to think I'm one of the players who can do that.''
