Huth faces FA probe
The Football Association is set to investigate Chelsea defender Robert
Huth's alleged stamp on Alan Shearer.
The incident happened towards the end of Chelsea's 2-1 defeat at
Newcastle in the Premiership on Sunday.
The FA has asked for video evidence of the incident, which will be
considered by its compliance unit.
Central defender Huth could face a three-match ban is he is found guilty
- adding to manager Claudio Ranieri's selection problems at the back.
William Gallas missed the trip to Newcastle through illness, while John
Terry is carrying an ankle injury.
Match referee Rob Styles did not spot the incident during the game.
Huth had already been booked earlier in the match for a push on Titus
Bramble.
