Rocastle heads north

Chelsea’s reserve team midfielder Craig Rocastle has signed for Sheffield
Wednesday on a free transfer.
The 23 year-old joined Chelsea from non-league Kingstonian in September
2003 but although a frequent performer in the second string, he failed to
make an impact on the first team. He spent the first half of this season
on loan in Scotland at Hibernian before returning to Chelsea in January.
Last season he was loaned to Lincoln City and Barnsley for short spells
and it is against Barnsley that he may make his debut for his new club in
League One on Saturday.
In total, Rocastle played 23 games in the reserves, scoring one goal.
