The London side qualified for the second round of the Champions League with two games to spare, have reached the semi-finals of the League Cup and are five points clear at the top of the Premier League. Clarke says manager Jose Mourinho will not be allowing his expensively assembled squad to feel secure when they meet Newcastle on Saturday, however. "We don't feel complacent at all. We can't afford to be complacent. That comes all the way from the top," Clarke said after training on Friday. "It's nice to be at the top. It's a good feeling and we want to keep that feeling. We believe we can stay there but you've still got to go out every week, every match and win." Clarke said keeping the squad of top international talent happy when many of them did not play regularly was vital. "We work at team spirit. You have to show you believe in them and trust them. (Mourinho) makes all the players feel important," Clarke said. "He's come in very confident. He's got a track record to back it up so players believe in him." Mourinho took Porto to two league titles and UEFA Cup and Champions League glory in successive seasons before joining Chelsea in June. Chelsea meet his old club on Tuesday in the Champions League in Portugal before preparing for a showdown with second-placed Arsenal in the Premier League the following Sunday. Clarke said Chelsea were aiming to put a little extra pressure on the champions with Saturday's early kickoff. A win would put them eight points in front for a couple of hours at least. The Scot, who spent two years at Newcastle under Ruud Gullit and Bobby Robson, said Chelsea's mean defence that had conceded only six goals in 15 Premier League games, would be the key. "We will have to be very strong defensively," he said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 所言甚是. -- forsaledumbcuntssamedumbquestionsvirginslistenallvirginsareliarshoneyandidont knowwhatimscaredoforwhatievenenjoydullinggetmoneybutnothingturnsoutlikeyouwant ittoandintheseplaguedstreetsofpityyoucanbuyanythingor$200anyonecanconceiveagod onvideohesaboyyouwantagirlsotearoffhiscocktiehishairinbunchesfuckhimcallhimrita ifyouwantieatandidressandiwashandistillcansaythankyoupukingshakingsinkingistill standforoldladiescantshoutcantscreamhurtmyselftogetpainoutitthem247allyearlong -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.112.216.66
