Neville questions Chelsea nerve
Manchester United defender Gary Neville has questioned whether Chelsea
will keep their nerve in the title run-in.
United are nine points behind the west Londoners but Neville refuses to
give up on the race and has pointed to his club's experience in winning
titles.
"If they keep playing as they are for the rest of the season you'd have
to hold your hands up but whether they do that remains to be seen," he
said.
"If they're being hunted by clubs like us, how will they do in April
and May?"
Neville said they way United had made up ground on third placed Arsenal
showed they were still a force to be reckoned with, and only a late
Fulham equaliser on Monday prevented them gaining ground on the leaders.
"Three or four weeks ago we were eight to 10 points behind Arsenal and
we could have gone two points behind them the other night," he said.
"We are strong enough to catch Chelsea and we are playing well enough."
