FORMER REDS target Joaquin has admitted he is willing to leave Real Betis
when the winter transfer window opens if it is in the best interests of the
Spanish club.
However, with Sir Alex Ferguson stating that he's unlikely to do busness in
January especially as United spent most of their advance transfer budget on
Wayne Rooney last summer, Chelsea will look favourite to secure his services.
The Spain international winger has been continually linked with Chelsea this
season and Betis president Manuel Ruiz de Lopera has already admitted he
would sell Joaquin if the price is right.
"I will go if we are all in agreement; Chelsea, who are the side everyone is
talking about, the club and me," Joaquin is quoted as saying in Spanish
newspaper Marca.
Joaquin was striongly linked with a switch to United in the summer of 2003
but opted in the end to commit his future to Betis.
