Jose ready to splash cash

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has declared that he will be looking to bring a
midfielder to the club in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese tactician had previously stated that he was content with the
squad he has assembled at Stamford Bridge but Scott Parker's injury has
forced him to reconsider.
Parker, who has only recently forced his way into Mourinho's thinking, is
facing two to three months on the sidelines having broken a bone in his foot.
Despite having a plethora of talent to choose from, Mourinho has decided to
add a fresh face in the winter window.
Speculation has suggested Spanish wide man Joaquin is Chelsea's primary
target but this has now been denied by Mourinho.
If Mourinho chooses to bring in a player of the same ilk as Parker, then
it would appear that a defensive midfielder will be his top priority.
