Fourth official Phil Crossley said he instigated Mourinho's dismissal in conjunction with the police, a claim which was denied by both the Football League and South Wales Police. The FA said they were concerned only with the contents of referee Steve Bennett's report in deciding whether Mourinho faces disciplinary action, yet doubts emerged about the legality of the "sending-off" which could make an FA charge difficult. Mourinho initially said a policeman was responsible for his departure but the "policeman" was in fact Jim Ashworth, the head of the national group of referees who was in close contact with Crossley. A police spokesman said: "None of our officers was involved in anything that happened to Mr Mourinho." The Football League confirmed there had been no direct police involvement in the Chelsea manager's removal from the touchline. A League spokesman said: "The decision to ask Jose Mourinho to leave the technical area came from the match officials and was initiated by the fourth official,Phil Crossley. "The match referee, Steve Bennett, was aware of what was happening on the touchline and was content that it was being dealt with correctly." But this appears to contradict law five that states that only the referee has the authority to "take action against team officials . . . and expel them from the field of play and its immediate surrounds". Crossley said: "I've sent my report to the FA about what went on. It was a decision I took, in conjunction with the police and the security officer. Once he [Mourinho] had vacated the technical area, I went to retrieve him and I felt he had to leave because by the time I'd got there he had incited the supporters. When I got back with him, the police were waiting with the security officer in the technical area. It was a culmination of all three of us but I had my mind made up that he had to vacate the technical area. 希望這次能全身而退, 我懷疑這Crossley和警察是不是.....嗯....算了:P -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.218.33.2
