Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has reveal he will try to bring in Chelsea
Scott Paker if he gets the chance in the summer.
"I'd like to sign Scott Parker.But how difficult is it?"said Bruce, who
expects a fight for the 24-year-old.
"I'm sure if you ask 80 or 90% of the Premiership clubs they would say they'd
love to have a player like Scott."
"Chelsea have made no decision about his future but if there was anything
doing, then we would try to get him."
Parker has made just eight Premiership starts for Chelsea since moving across
London from Charlton in a ￡10m deal in January 2004.
And the England international has become a peripheral figure under Jose
Mourinho this season,makeing just one league start.
However, Bruce knows he would face competition if Mourinho decide to release
Parker.
"I could think of a few clubs straight away and our neighbours over the road
(Aston Villa), Middlesbrough and Charlton would have him, as would Manchester
City if they could afford him,"he added.
