Chelsea wide man Arjen Robben admits that he is not the best spectator as
his team-mates fight for a hat-trick of trophies.
"I hate watching matches," said Robben. "I just want to be out there.
"No one wants to miss out on what is happening at Chelsea. Great matches,
great occasions, great teams.
"Barcelona, Bayern Munich - who wouldn't want to be part of that? When you
seeeveryone playing so well and enjoying it so much, it's very hard.
"Personally, it's been a season of highs and lows. And extremely frustrating.
"When I was playing everything was going so well, people were saying such
great things.
"But, I have been out for a total of five months. Unbelievable. Well at
least it can't get any worse.''

I hate watching Chelsea
In his absence, Chelsea have restructured the line-up and, incredibly, barely
missed him.
"Of course, this side can get to the Champions League final without me," said
a man who is neither fool nor big shot.
"Why on earth not? They are doing fantastically well. They have changed a few
things, play in a slightly different way and yet have proved they are not a
one or two-man team.
"It's not all about me or Frank Lampard or John Terry — it's about a team.
So I don't think about Frank or JT as player of the year. They should all
be player of the year.
"It's more important that Chelsea are team of the year. That is the difference
. That is why we have come so far.
"Yes, we have good individuals but they are even better because they fit into
the team so well.
"And when someone goes out, another comes in. Look at Joe Cole.
"They say he has been a revelation but that doesn't do him justice — his
talent was always there.
"Then you have Makelele, Cech, Gallas and Ferreira.
"Makelele is so important, brilliant even. The papers never make him man of
the match yet to be reliable and consistent is one of the most difficult
things for a footballer.”
Robben's only consistency is injury. He probably has another three weeks out
— though there has even been talk of him missing the rest of the season.
"I'm not afraid of anyone. I'm not afraid of getting injured but I have to
be aware when danger is around — and get out of the way. I have to
develop a sixth sense.
"As for now, I have to stay positive. I know there are still some great games
left and I think I will be back in time for them.”
