It's Duff at the top

DAMIEN DUFF admits he is feeling the pace of chasing Chelsea’s Treble dream.
The Republic of Ireland winger insists he has struggled for his best form in
recent weeks due to fatigue.
He has already made 45 appearances for the Blues, who are on course to add the
Premiership and Champions League to the Carling Cup they won earlier this
season.
But with tough games coming up against Arsenal in the Premiership and Liverpool
in the Champions League semi-final, Duff, 26, is hoping to get a second wind.
He said: “I do get tired and have probably put in a few sluggish performances
recently.
“I’m not used to playing this many games because every other season I have
had a few injuries.”
Meanwhile, Blues keeper Petr Cech has insisted 20-year-olds Robert Huth and
Glen Johnson are not to blame for Chelsea’s dodgy defensive displays.
Chelsea have let in 16 goals in 11 games after a Premiership record 1,025
minutes without conceding.
But Cech: “Glen has shown the boss and fans that he can be the right one.
Robert has also been outstanding in the last few games. I think Chelsea’s
defence for the future is safe.”
MIKAEL FORSSELL will stay at Chelsea — and end Birmingham’s hopes of landing
him on a permanent basis.
The Finn said: “I’m permanently back. This has been my club since day one in
England.
