Watt waits on Blues deal

Steven Watt is desperate to be rewarded with a new Chelsea contract
at the end of the season. The teenage defender's present deal expires in
the summer and he is waiting to learn if he will be retained by Jose
Mourinho.
Watt made his first team debut for The Blues against Scunthorpe
United in the FA Cup earlier this season and he is also in the Scotland
Future squad for Tuesday's clash with Austria.
But his long-term future is unclear as he has not received any
instructions on whether he will be staying at Stamford Bridge. The 19-
year-old hopes to clinch a new contract with the Premiership champions-
elect, despite admitting his path to the first team is blocked by a
string of international defenders.
