Scott Parker
Suffered a broken metatarsal bone in his foot. Has had a quiet time in the
last few days but should be coming out of any support for his foot, and
should start gradually increasing weight bearing to full capacity by this
weekend. His work's basically consisted of hydrotherapy and gymnasium
excercises using a bike for cardio-vascular activity. We are hoping that he
should be able to do far more dynamic stuff when he's fully weight bearing.

Paulo Ferreira
Paulo Ferreira broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his foot in an injury
similar to Scott Parker's. Has had an operation which went well and is
now in a moveable cast so we can keep his anle mobile. Is doing a lot of
work in the pool , walking and swimming. He's roughly a week behind Scott.

Wayne Bridge
Broke his ankle in two places during the Newcastle game (20th Feb) which
has been operated on. Was out of plaster three weeks earlier than expected
and has had a very good week with a dramatic improvement in movement of the
ankle. He's been weight bearing in deep water and doing excercises for
strengthening the muscles around the ankle. Is due out of the cast any day
now and we hope he'll then become fully weight bearing and can start a
greater range of movement. (27/04/05)
