Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is facing a battle to be fit to face
Aston Villa on Saturday because of an ankle injury.
The ￡24m striker hobbled off following a challenge by Mark Hudson in the
2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
He went on to play in a friendly for the Ivory Coast at the weekend but he
is now receiving treatment on the troubled ankle.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho also has strikers Eidur Gudjohnsen, Mateja Kezman
and Adrian Mutu to call upon.
Mourinho also revealed he aims to give his strikers as many crossing
opportunities as possible by calling up both Damien Duff and Arjen Robben when
both available.
"Their presence will make a lot of difference for many players in the team,"
he said.
"It is just a matter of having both them completely fit and Robben is getting
nearer now."
很多傳言說老大布喜歡達夫...說老大不喜歡442的陣型,達夫將無法生存
達夫因傷遲遲無法上場,也讓外人覺得那是老大的藉口
但老大也不只一次說過他需要達夫和羅本,達夫也企圖表現他可適應任何陣型,任何位置
所以我覺得他們之間應該沒什麼問題
