John Terry believes Chelsea's miserly defence is the envy of the whole of
Europe.
Jose Mourinho's side have conceded one goal in eight games and are plan to
make it five successive clean sheets against Porto tonight.
Chelsea have been criticised for failing score regularly but Terry said:
"We defended well in Europe last season but have improved as a team. If we
defend like we are doing we won't need to score many goals.
"We'll settle for 1-0 wins all season and people can write what they want.
If it was good enough for the Arsenal side that won two Championships it's
good enough for us. I'm sure the current Arsenal team wouldn't mind having
our defensive record.
"We've been working really well as a back-five and if ever a cross goes over
mine or Ricardo's (Carvalho) head Petr (Cech) comes to fetch it. The whole
team are working really hard.
"If we keep on defending well then eventually we'll get the goals."
