http://www.chelseafc.com/article.asp?hlid=280682 Forssell on medication to improve knee Thursday, May 26, 2005 Mikael Forssell has been put on a special course of medication by Chelsea to improve his recovering knee for next season. The striker had surgery last September and has made a speedy and successful comeback. But club doctor Bryan English, speaking exclusively to www.chelseafc.com, says:“He is available to play for Finland next week. We’ve started him on a new medication to further improve the problem in his right knee. It will decrease the symptoms and enable him to train to the maximum. "It’s a treatment that’s been used recently on bone bruising and stress fractures in sport. Previously it’s been used successfully for a condition called Paget’s Disease where it stops something called bone turnover for a short time allowing bone bruising to recover. "Mikael’s on the medication for a month and will be ready for pre-season.” "You can’t play too much while on it but Finland are just at home to Denmark on Thursday June 2nd and to Holland on Wednesday June 8th. ~~~~ 先談病情,後談合約 ~~~~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.121.199.212
