Crespo recalled by Argentina

Hernan Crespo, on loan at AC Milan, has been recalled to the Argentina squad
for their two World Cup qualifying games over the next week.
New Argentina coach Jose Pekerman has selected his first squad for the home
game with Uruguay and away match with Chile.
Crespo and Juan Sebastian Veron, on loan at Inter Milan, were selected for a
friendly early in the season, before the Italian season had started, and
didn’t go, and so were left out of the last qualifying match having originally
been selected.
Veron scored for Inter at the weekend in their 3-3 draw with Roma, but he
hasn’t made this week’s international squad. Argentina currently lie second
in the South American group.
