葡萄牙vs 俄羅斯
Portugal recovered from their embarrassing draw with Liechtenstein at the
weekend to inflict an even more embarrassing 7-1 defeat on Russia last night.
Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo Carvalho for Portugal and Alexey Smertin for Russia
played all 90 minutes.
Smertin was booked. Tiago was unused on the Portugal bench. Portugal scored
three in the last seven minutes.

England, France and the Czech Republic all won away. Frank Lampard played all
90 minutes and Joe Cole the last six of England’s 1-0 victory in terrible
weather conditions in Azerbaijan. Cole looked to have set up a good goal for
Lampard but it was disallowed harshly. John Terry was unused on the bench.
William Gallas was right-back for all of France’s 2-0 win in Cyprus. Petr Cech
enjoyed yet another clean sheet as the Czech Republic won 3-0 in Armenia.
愛爾蘭
Damien Duff won a penalty, then was the server in a one-two with Roy Keane who
crossed, from which Robbie Keane scored both goals in Ireland’s 2-0 home win
over the Faroe Islands. Duff played in attack for the first three-quarters of
the game, skimming the bar with one shot and missing some good chances. He
moved to his normal home on the wing for the last quarter.

Eidur Gudjohnsen scored yet again in another bad defeat for Iceland who were
four down at the interval at home to Sweden. Gudjohnsen netted in the 66th
minute and the game finished 1-4.
英格蘭u21
The previous evening England Under 21s drew 0-0 in Azerbaijan. Glen Johnson had
a last minute shot cleared off the line. Carlton Cole was missing with an ankle
injury.
