Mourinho accuses Mutu of untruths


Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted troubled striker Adrian Mutu's claim
the pair had a furious row over the Romanian's international duty is false.


Mutu has stated he "threatened Mourinho and I almost hit him", when the two
reportedly clashed.


But Mourinho said: "It is simply not true what he is saying.


"It is not true that I forbade him to go. I saw him only twice when he came
back from the Czech Republic. Perhaps he has nightmares about me." 還蠻幽默的


However, the club versus country row is the least of Romania skipper Mutu's
problems since he tested positive for a banned substance.


He admits his Chelsea career looks to be over, and Mourinho has made it clear
that drugs of any kind, either recreational or performance enhancing, have no
place in football.


Mourinho said: "We have to fight the use of drugs because we want the truth.
True managers, clean players and good referees. We want it really clean.


"We have a responsibility to try to help and control this situation. When
people think that top sports people are involved with social drugs, it sends
a bad message to the world and our kids.


"I am always a defender of control and punishment."
