對於這場能在積分上追平阿森那的大勝，老大只感到一半的高興而已。
"對手上半場表現比我們優秀，在拼搶戰鬥方面他們展現了的決心，而下半場我們
掌控了局面，但是明天我們要好好談談上半場，那是我到卻爾西以來最糟糕的一段時
間。下半場的替補（羅本和卡瓦略）幫助了球隊，後衛線更加的堅固，縱深和節奏也
掌握的比較好。"
"羅本太神奇了，不論持球與否，當他拿到球時總是充滿危險 － 整個體育場的人
都感覺到西布朗要遭殃了。羅本帶來了改變，但是跟以往沒有拿那麼多分的比賽比起
來，實際上我們打得並不出色。"
"但不論是隊伍或是球員們，他們在下半場的的表現真的非常強大，古德約翰森和
達夫往前推進了許多，而我認為斯梅爾丁也表現得不錯，他的推進增加了西布朗的壓

Caretaker Throstles boss Frank Burrows thought that despite that a
spirited first half showing by his boys, centre-backs John Terry and
William Gallas were “having a picnic a lot of the time” and he saw no
real injustice in the scoreline.
“When you work in football,” he reasoned, “everything’s unkind. We
did well in the first half. Their first goal was a good one for them and
bad for us. Their centre halves made it and ours were nowhere.
“There’s no charity in this game and you get what you deserve.
They’re the best side we’ve played, second half. They stepped up a gear
and we couldn’t answer it. Youse all know there’s a gulf. There’s teams
at the top separate from the rest of us.”

Patronisingly, a man from ITV queried how one of the ‘old school’
coaches could possibly appreciate one of football’s most advanced
thinkers.
Burrows pointed a finger at one of the more elderly-looking gentlemen
of her majesty’s press. “Can you use a computer?” The answer was a
hesitant yes. “You see,” beamed Burrows, returning his gaze to the man
from commercial TV. “Just cause you’re old, doesn’t mean you don’t keep
up with modern things.” The ITV representative was suitably embarrassed.
